Prototype game created in 10 weeks from scratch for the 2016 Ubisoft academic competition. The prototype was nominated for Best Art Direction and won Best Prototype, Best Game Design and the Audience Award.
I was in charge of creating the models and textures for the characters and environments. The assets had to have a strong silhouette and a vibrant style so they could be easily read by the players. The artistic direction is a stylized interpretation of pacific insular cultures, especially the Maori.
